Free products, Free training and anything else that is free

I was reading one of the posts on this forum about Free Internet Marketing Training and the title of the post got me thinking.

Do you not think that the word FREE has now got to the stage where people no longer put any value on anything that has this word attached to it especially where Internet Marketing is involved. So much rubbish content has been attached to this word that people are becoming more and more wary of it (or is this just me).

I think to some extent you are right Kim but it also depends upon what that word is being used for. For example free article rewriter seems to be somewhat popular as it shows in the forum stats for search engine listings. Free training for instance could attract newbies while veterans it may not attract so much. So I think it really depends upon how the word Free is used.

When I see the word FREE I immediately think there's a catch.

For me, I'm skeptical at best.

It's at this point that I will do some further investigating into the product, person, company, etc.

It's too bad that so many charlatans selling snake oil have put us in that position.
