Biography:

I am a wife, mom, and nana, (not a grandma as I do not fit the stereotypical grandmother type at all), I guess I’m just a fun loving girlie girl who thrives on adventure and the sun, sand and surf. I enjoy water skiing, swimming, and basking in the sun. My favorite past time is reading, as there’s nothing better than to be carried away to places from the past, places in other cultures, and places that I’ll never be this side of eternity.

I love to creatively write anything from short stories, to jotting down my feelings, to journaling, to poetry, to capturing what I think may be a brilliant idea before it escapes me. As a matter of fact, I’ve been writing since I knew how. As a mere child, if I liked or disliked something, I wrote it down, if I wanted or didn’t want to do something, I wrote all about it. If I wanted to go somewhere and couldn’t, I wrote a story about how I did it, and when something of an emotional nature came along, I expressed my true emotions in the form of poetry.

Naturally all the details were enhanced and exaggerated as that was the most enjoyable part of the writing. Much later in life I was told by one of my college English teachers that the above qualities are what great authors are made of. I still think quite fondly of her to this very day.

I absolutely love shopping, jewelry, the color pink, clothes and all the accessories to go along with them. I guess you could say I enjoy my femininity. Being raised as a Daddy’s girl probably has something to do with that.

I find listening to a wide variety of music, dancing, taking strolls through different nature settings, and watching sunsets and sunrises totally invigorating. I love to laugh and have a good time. I love being the center of attention, having others riveted to me as I talk or perform, and I blame that right on the middle child syndrome! I basically always root for the underdog and love being around and playing with children.
