by Richard_K on 02-18-2017 at 10:32 PM
Fixing the Ipod Nano Power Button

A friend of mine had an Ipod 6th Gen Nano with a power button that didn't work. I ask him what good was it if you couldn't turn the mp3 player on? No good he said. So I offered to really brake the iPod if the music box was only going to sit lifeless on the shelf.

But if the console won't play any games at all and the Windex cotton swab trick doesn't work there may be more to clean.

Taking apart the NES console isn't for everyone but thanks to the internet there are plenty of

What is a Good 62mm Lens for 4k Camcorder JVC HM-170

Using a set of macro magnifying 62mm screw on lens from fotogear I was able to get an extreme close-up of a small subject.

When shooting video with a magnifying lens the camera must be placed very close to the subject being recorded, 4-10 inches. Depending on the focal length of the camera lens the distance will be a little different.

Cleaning Rusty Tools with Molasses Water Chelating Agent

by Richard_K on 01-21-2017 at 10:15 AM
Mix up a chelating agent and restore your rusty tools, thanks to a youtuber seejanedrill for the tip.

When I was a kid I use to use the parts cleaner to clean tools and dirty truck parts in the auto garage. Now we no longer have the parts cleaner and over the years some of the tools got rusty.

After looking up different ways to clean and remove rust from shop tools I found the molasses method and gave mixture a try.

What happens after a few weeks is worth
