Retail giants from Gamestop to J.C. Penny have closed their Facebook Storefronts. These giants of retail was hoping to generate increased sales from the millions of users on facebook, a huge mistake that has cost these retailers millions. Retailers such as Gamestop, Gap Inc., J.C. Penney Co. and Nordstrom Inc have all opened and closed storefronts on Facebook.

Facebook is a social platform where friends and family can stay in touch with each other and where they can play games online. I know the marketing community has raped Facebook with all their make money schemes and shiny objects. What these marketers do not get is they are selling to marketers.
