Pinboard social networking site, is it worth paying for

I have been looking at some of the newer social bookmarking sites and have come across one called pinboard. Unlike a lot of the others though there is a sign up fee of $9.86 before anything can be posted.

Has anybody joined this site and if so is it worth the initial fee.

Looked it up in Google and from what I see, no way would I pay $10. Although the site may have a PR 6, it has been proven that means nothing. You can post for free on many social networks and get the same results. If they had something special to offer then it may be a different story but I see nothing special.

I am inclined to agree with you, as you say there does not seem to be anything special about this site. I think i will just stick with the tried and trusted and of course the MD social poster.

I would also agree Kim, don't waste your money when other sites can give you the same thing for free.

I must concur, why waste your hard earned money on a site that does the same thing any other social media site does for free. Besides I noticed the extension of the domain name and sorry but no way would I do business in that country.
